Liquid Death and goodwipes launch second phase of collaboration with video that gives toilet wipes the prestige skincare treatment

Liquid Death and goodwipes have launched the next phase of their unexpected collaboration, with a new video that gives the limited-edition sCREAM Soda wipes the full prestige beauty treatment.

Parodying the dramatized, CG animation of old-school skincare advertising, the video opens with slow-motion beauty imagery, macro shots of skin, water droplets, product and ingredient close-ups, and a straight-faced voiceover detailing the wipes’ skin-loving benefits. But the “skin” being pampered is, of course, your butt cheeks. The polished beauty aesthetic is interrupted by blurred shots of people on the toilet, before the video lands on the promise of leaving cheeks feeling “absolutely spoilt rotten” and closes with the CTA, “Pamper your cheeks.”

“It’s not every day a flushable wipe company and a better-for-you beverage company can sell out of collaboration merch,” said Greg Fass, VP of Marketing at Liquid Death. “But with a flavor as delicious as our sCREAM Soda, it’s no wonder that our community was eager for more ways to experience it.”

Meredith Diehn, SVP Marketing at goodwipes added: “Liquid Death and goodwipes have both built loyal followings by bringing personality, innovation, and premium experiences to categories that have traditionally lacked all three. That shared ambition made this partnership a natural fit from the start, and this next phase gives us another opportunity to keep pushing what’s possible in the bathroom. From the products we create to the way we talk about them, we want to challenge the idea that your restroom routine should be dry, boring, or purely functional. With the new video, we’re continuing that conversation in our own cheeky way, while giving people more time to experience the collaboration, with the limited-edition wipes available exclusively at Walmart through January.”

The limited-edition sCREAM Soda wipes launched exclusively at more than 4,000 Walmart stores nationwide in August, supported by “The Buttler Sweepstakes” and a brand video created and produced in-house by Liquid Death. Since the launch, the campaign has generated over 500 pieces of user-generated content, received over 9M social impressions, and sold out the limited-edition merch box on walmart.com (in under 30 days)!

Rooted in the brands’ shared “Death to Dry” philosophy, the collaboration goes beyond a traditional licensing deal, with the two brands working together to reformulate goodwipes’  signature product, infusing the flushable wipes with Liquid Death Mountain Water and sCREAM Soda scent, along with goodwipes’ skin-loving ingredients, including aloe and vitamin E.

The wipes remain available exclusively at Walmart through January 2027, with the new video marking the next chapter of the collaboration, negotiated by partnership agency SonderCo.
