WNBA fans reacted to Caitlin Clark having her locker between Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham. A picture of the Indiana Fever sophomore star surfaced online, featuring Clark eating bread in the dressing room in front of her locker, while jersey numbers #8, #22 and #10 could be seen written inside their lockers.
Clark and Lexie Hull have become best of friends even off the court since the Iowa star arrived in Indianapolis. Moreover, since the time Sophie Cunningham signed with the Fever, the trio has been constantly seen goofing around with each other.
Reacting to the post, a fan hilariously poked the idea of Caitlin Clark dating Cunningham or Hull.
“She’d love to date either one of them.”
A fan said Hull and Cunningham were on each side of Clark to protect her.
“Ones her best friend the other is her bodyguard,” the fan wrote.
“They’re her Secret Service detail🤣.”
A fan wrote that she thought Caitlin Clark was very good friends with Aliyah Boston.
“lol I thought she was next to Boston.”
Meanwhile, a fan wrote that Caitlin Clark was living her dream.
“She’s living the dream 😭😭😭.”
“Sounds like a dream I had.”
A fan jokingly pushed the segregation angle.
“Looks like segregation! 🤷🏾♀️😂.”
Is Caitlin Clark playing today against Atlanta Dream?
When the Indiana Fever announced Caitlin Clark’s injury on May 26, there was a hope that she would make her return after four games, after an evaluation by the team in two weeks. However, it seems like the Fever fans will have to wait for yet another game to watch their star take the court.
Clark will miss her fifth straight game due to a quad injury. She has been ruled out for the game against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.
Per coach Stephanie White, the Fever star has been “allowed to do some practicing,” however, the team wanted to be extra careful and not rush Clark to the basketball court.
“We’re going to be smart, and we’re going to be cautious and we’re going to play the long game and work her back in very intentionally,” White told reporters.
The Indiana Fever is also missing another crucial piece from the lineup in Sophie Cunningham, who has missed the last three games with a right ankle injury.
Both Cunningham and Caitlin Clark were seen shooting around during the practice. However, Fever coach Steph White said that both stars would have to work their way back in, as they have been out for a very long time.
